What the 2026 changes mean for MST and PST

This uses Mountain Time as in Denver, which changes clocks. Arizona stays on MST (UTC−7) all year. Alberta no longer uses MST at all: since Nov 1, 2026 it stays at UTC−6, so in winter Calgary is an hour ahead of Denver. Yukon, Creston and BC’s Peace River region are at UTC−7 all year.

BC isn’t on PST any more. Since Nov 1, 2026, Vancouver and most of BC stay at UTC−7 all year, so from November to March they’re an hour ahead of PST (Los Angeles, Seattle). For BC, use the BC Pacific Time page or a Vancouver comparison.
