Time Zone Hell is a free time zone converter, time difference calculator and reference for Canada and the United States. It exists because 2026 broke a lot of clocks. British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba and the Northwest Territories stopped changing their clocks, the US and the rest of Canada didn't, and plenty of phones, calendars and scheduling tools got the new gaps wrong.
The site does one thing: tells you what time it is somewhere else, correctly, for any date. Around that sit a meeting planner, plain-language pages for every time zone and city pair, and guides for fixing devices that are still on the old rules.
Time Zone Hell is edited by Don Falconer, based in British Columbia. Don checks each rule against the government that made it, and updates the site when anything changes. You can find him on LinkedIn. Every rule we use, and where it came from, is listed on the methodology page.
